But when is the best time to visit Cyprus? Excepting 2-3 winter months when the air temperature is a little bit chilly, visiting the "Island of Aphrodite" is a great life experience, but depending on the main purpose of the trips, there are several periods of time which offer the best conditions. Tourist interested in beach vacations but who don't like the heat are advised to book accommodation to hotels in Cyprus from mid-May to end of June or from end of August to end of September or even mid-October, while people who want to enjoy the true power of the sun and enjoy the real Mediterranean summer should buy vacation packages for July and August. Holiday makers less interested in spending much time on beaches for tanning and are looking foremost for tours to archaeological sites, day trips to old churches and villages, visiting museums and winne cellars, relishing culinary excursions or just relaxing in high end resorts with spa centers are guided to come on vacation in Cyprus in March – April or October – November.

The high season in Cyprus starts in the second part of May and ends in October because of the warm weather, but in this interval the prices practiced by hotels and other accommodation providers are at the highest level.
